ABOUT ME
My passion for storytelling began when I was a child, and I’ve been immersed in visual media ever since. After earning A Levels in Film, Media, and English Literature from Brockenhurst College in 2013, I briefly explored a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design but soon discovered that my true fulfilment came from self-directed learning and independent filmmaking. This realisation led me to pursue a career path based on self-education, ultimately guiding my professional journey in the way I aspired.
I started professionally in 2014 through freelance projects, which evolved into a regular collaboration with Solent University from 2019 to 2021. My work included videos featuring renowned cinematographer Tim Maurice-Jones and acclaimed actress Joanna Lumley, both of which were very well-received.
From 2021 to 2024, I worked as Video Producer for Autek CIC, focusing on impactful disability awareness content. This role expanded my skills in writing, cinematography, editing, and animation, all while working on projects with real-world, meaningful influence.
Before filmmaking, I ran a successful YouTube channel under the username Gameking53, which served as a major starting point for my desire to enter video editing and later filmmaking as a professional career.
In January 2025, I was honoured with the Audience Choice Award at Lift-Off Sessions, which marked one of the most important milestones in my creative journey.
Many of my earlier works can be found on my now retired channel, CarrCom Films. While I've since transitioned to new branding, I’ve kept the channel and its videos public to preserve its legacy and the memories tied to it.
This portfolio offers a curated look at my filmmaking work, from passion projects to collaborations with renowned fellow content creators and organisations. Whether you're here to explore or collaborate, I hope you enjoy discovering the stories I’ve brought to life.
